Kleopolis (the game and website at kleopolis.io, the "Service") is operated by Iceware OÜ, registry code 16916913, Müürivahe tn 31-16, 10140 Tallinn, Estonia ("we", "us"). Email: admin@kleopolis.io.
These Terms are a contract between you and Iceware OÜ. By using the Service, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of digital consent in your country (13 to 16, depending on the country), or under 18 where the law requires it, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms for you.
You can play without an account. To keep statistics and appear on leaderboards, you sign in with Google. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Do not share it, and tell us if you think someone else has access to it. You may have only one account.
When you use the Service, you must not:
If you break these rules, we can remove content, reset statistics, or suspend or close your account. The action depends on how serious the breach is. If you think we made a mistake, email us within 30 days.
Your name, profile picture, and match statistics appear on your public profile and on leaderboards. Other players see the name you play under. The Privacy Policy describes what we collect and how we use it.
The Service is free to play. It has no purchases at this time. If we add paid features, we will show their price and terms before you pay, and your rights as an EU consumer (including the right of withdrawal, where it applies) will apply.
The game's source code is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 (AGPL). That license, not these Terms, sets your rights to the code. You can get the source at github.com/hatemets/landwar-source. The name "Kleopolis", the logo, and other brand elements belong to Iceware OÜ and are not licensed to you.
You keep the rights to the names and messages you post. You give us a free, worldwide licence to store and show them as part of the Service.
We continuously develop the game, so features, maps, rules, and balance can change. We may also pause or end the Service. We try to keep it available, but we do not promise that it will always work or be free of errors.
We are liable for damage that we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, and for death or personal injury that we cause. For other damage, our liability is limited to the damage that was foreseeable when you started to use the Service. As the Service is free, we are not liable for loss of game progress, statistics, or rankings. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be excluded by contract.
You can stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account, email us from the address linked to it. We can close accounts as Section 4 describes, or when we end the Service.
We may change these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. We will announce significant changes in the Service before they take effect. If you use the Service after that, the new Terms apply.
Estonian law applies to these Terms. If you are a consumer in another EU country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of that country. Please contact us first, so we can try to solve the problem. Disputes go to the Harju County Court (Harju Maakohus) in Tallinn, unless the law gives you the right to go to a court where you live. Consumers in Estonia can also contact the Consumer Disputes Committee (www.ttja.ee).
If a part of these Terms is invalid, the rest stays in effect.
